Nicole Martin and Diane Lucado have joined the Women's Ministry board!  Nicole will be filling the role of Vice President and Diane will be filling the role of secretary/treasurer.  Both are full of excitement about the Women's Ministry!  Plans are in the works for different Women's Ministry events.   As women, God made us naturally compassionate and fun-loving creatures.  We enjoy times of intimate worship, fellowship and sharing of life's experiences. I desire for the Cathedral of Praise's Women's Ministry to provide an atmosphere to do exactly that. As we come together, spiritual growth, personal development and lasting relationships occur; which in turn, spill over into our homes, church and community. I invite you to be a part of this new and exciting chapter of our Women's Ministry.  No membership is required...every woman is welcome to attend events sponsored by the Women's Ministry. Quarts are $6.50 and pints are $4.00.  If you would like to purchase some please call Amy Young at the church office at 362-8041 or email her at ayoung@cathedralofpraise.com.   Food for the Soul...from the Women's Ministry Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars by Jody Dean    1 cup sugar    1 cup clear corn syrup    1 cup peanut butter    6 cups Rice Krispies (or Special K)    1 cup butterscotch chips    1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Measure all ingredients. Heat syrup and sugar in large pan until it starts to bubble. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter; stir well. Add Rice Krispies (or Special K). Spread into a 9x13 dish. Microwave butterscotch and chocolate chips together until melted, about 2 - 3 minutes. Pour over top of the cereal mixture. Cool, then cut into squares.

Saturday, OCtober 23 we went to Miller's Bake Shoppe, The Cheese Shop and Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant in and near Stuart's Draft and Staunton, VA.  What a blast!!
